The content of paper concentrates on research of the characteristics and application of Geofoam material for design of bridge approach embankment constructed on soft soil deposit in Ho Chi Minh city. The design solution using Geofoam will be compared with normal design solution to evaluate the feasibility of this solution about technique and economy.
