The study was implemented to assess the impact of slaughter cattle and poultry activities on environmental pollution in Phuong Tu commune, Ung Hoa district, Hanoi city. The water samples were collected and analyzed in the laboratory of Life Science Institute - Thai Nguyen university. The results shown that: Some factors such as: BOD5 in the waste water is higher 8.98 time compare to column A and 5.39 time compare to column B in QCVN 24:2009/BTNMT; COD is higher 14.7 time compare to column A and 7.35 time compare to column B. The other factors as TSS and Coliform still are higher allowance value in QCVN 24:2009/BTNMT. Thus, surface water environment in slaughter cattle and poultry activities areas was facing with surious pollution.
