The paper presented some problems about calculating diffraction wave loading on gravity concrete structures; some other problems about finite element method to analysing the gravity concrete structures, gravity concrete foundation and their application to Vietnam condition are presented. To learn from experience of application of the gravity concrete principle in Vietnam condition, this paper sets up some eminent problems to be solved for continued for more common application to the gravity concrete platform of light tower on Truong Sa island and DKI area.
