Urban environmental geology applies three main issues: i) The components of the geological environment (Material composition, geological processes, geomorphological topography); ii) The systems of the city (Location, inputs, outputs, transportation systems); iii) The interaction of the geological environment with urban activity. On this basis, urban environmental geology serves determining the compatibility between components participating in the process of urban development, minimizing conflicts, providing scientific basis for using geospatial rationality. Here, the target is to provive a scientific basis for the original data on the physical, chemical, space properties of the components in the geospatial that serves collection, investigation and demandly hierarchy to establish values (Scorces) as well as normalize the weights according to the three issues above. From there, quantify them to assess the ability to meet the needs of urban development objectively and reasonably in each given area in Vietnam in the next stage.
