This paper presents the effects of several parameters to vibration of a shallow foundation under vertical harmonic loading. Based on this study, a proper approach could be applied to design the foundation in order to satisfy requirements in term of vibration. In cases of small dimension of foundation base as well as embedded depth, amplification ratio of displacement amplitude of the foundation has a noticeable value of 2-4. However, since rd or = 2,0m or hm 0,5m, the amplification ratio get a pretty small value. This is a recommendation to design a proper shallow foundation under the dynamic loading.
