The genus Co ke-Grewia L. and genus Bung Lai-Microcos L. have called by Linnaeus-botanist Sweden in "Species plantarum". Comparison of the morphological characteristics of the 2 major genus Microcos and Grewia, the authors till see that difference is evident in the reproductive organs. Main distinction between the two genus is Grewia L. has hose stigmas bulge in the nozzle stigmas can form a shield or forked 2-much longer, Microcos L. stigma narrow hose at the top, stigmas of thrusting, not divided lobes and almost invisible. The species, that is Vietnamese name as Co ke (Bung lai), which is common as Microcos paniculataL In sometlocuments it have been called as Grewia paniculata Roxb. ex DC.
