After 10 years of establishing and implementing under MPA project, nowadays the Nha Trang MPA board has been operated. Many issues and results of the Honmun MPA pilot project became daily activities, such as: the involvement of community onto the marine conservation; livelihood for community; capacity building and awareness; and monitoring and assessment. MPA Board of Nha Trang gulf has been establish based on the Homun MPA pilot project (2001-2005) funding by WB/Danida and technical supporting from IUCN and the ministry of fishery. After completing the Homun MPA pilot project, the Nha Trang MPA continues in action within the core organization as well as the Nha Trang MPA Board belongs to the Khanh Hoa People Committee. There were .many contributions to Nha Trang gulf conservation, environment"protection; resources utilizatian and development have been made by Nha Trang MPA Board in recent years. The coordination mechanism has been established to help for a better management towards the sustainability; however there is a lot of difficulties occurred needs to be overcome in order to promote the good results have been gathered fIuring the Honmun and Nha Trang MPA implementation. There are some lesson learn have been presented on the coordination, marine public service, integration etc of the Nha Trang MPA Board activities.
