In the latest studies, the prevalence of scoliosis in school children was high, estimated about 10-12 percent. One of the reasons of scoliosis was low KAP of the parents. This study has been evaluated the KAP of the parents for the purpose of relevant intervention methods in the future. Objective of study was to describe a situation of knowledge, attitude and practices of the parents for scoliosis prevention for school children in My Duc distiict of Hanoi. Subjects: 344 parents with chosen criteria were included in the study. A cross-sectional study was chosen for this study. Results: Almost parents of school children thought that the reasons of scoliosis were nonappropriate height of the chairs and tables, heavy hand back, one side hand back carrying, wrong posture in the class, staying long time in one place. Parents want adjust chairs and tables in right height in each class, good nutrition, good posture and exercises. A little number of the parents did the activities for scoliosis prevention.
