Trong nghiên cứu này, ba thành phần khác nhau của dịch nuôi cấy vi khuẩn (gồm: toàn bộ sản phẩm tế bào - whole cell product (WCP), sản phẩm nội bào - intracellular product (ICP) và sản phẩm ngoại bào - extracellular product (ECP) của Bacillus amyloliqeufaciens B894 đã được kiểm tra hoạt tính đối kháng với vi khuẩn gây bệnh Edwardsiella ictaỉuri và Aeromonas hyd-rophila. Ngoại trừ ICP, cả WCP và ECP đểu đối kháng với cả 2 vi khuẩn gây bệnh trong mòi trường theo thời gian. Dịch nuôi cấy WCP có hiệu quả trong việc ức chế sự phát triển của 2 vi khuẩn gây bệnh trên cả môi trường thạch và lỏng. Kết quả khảo sát trên môi trường thạch cho thấy đường kính vòng vô khuẩn đạt 16,3 ± 0,6 mm (A. hyd-rophila) và 29,7 ± 0,6 mm (E. ictaluri). Khi đồng nuôi cấy B. amyloliquefaciens B894 và 2 vi khuẩn gây bệnh với nồng độ bằng hoặc lớn hơn 10 lần thì B. amyloliquefaciens B894 kìm hãm hoàn toàn sự phát triển của E. ictaluri sau 15 giờ và A. hyd-rophila sau 36 giờ. Dịch ECP của B. amyloliquefaciens B894 chỉ thể hiện hoạt tính đổi kháng với vi khuẩn gây bệnh khi bổ sung trực tiếp vào mỏi trường nuôi cấy lỏng. Sau 24 giờ nuôi cấy không còn thấy sự hiện diện của 2 vi khuẩn gây bệnh trong môi trường. Đầy là cơ sở cho các nghiên cứu tiếp theo để ứng dụng B. amyloliquefaciens B894 trong nuôi trổng thủy sản.
 

In this study, three different cellular components (i. e. whole cell product-WCP, intracellular product-ICP and extracellular product-ECP) of B. arnyloliqeufaciens B894 were used to inhibit the growth of E. ictaluri and A. hyd-rophila. Except for ICP, both WCP and ECP showed antagonistic ability against these two bacteria in the environment according to the time length of treatment. WCP effectively inhibited the growth of two pathogens in agar medium with the inhibition zone diameter of 16.3 ± 0.6 mm (for A. hyd-rophila) and 29.7 ± 0.6 mm (for E. ictaluri). Both E. ictaluri and A. hyd-rophila were not found after 15 hours and 36 hours, respectively, co-culturing in broth medium with B. amyloliquefaciens B894, which were added at the same or ten-fold concentrations, compared to the pathogens. Meanwhile, the antagonistic efficacies of the ECP f-rom B. amyloliquefaciens B894 against these two pathogens were only observed in broth medium after 24 hours of co-culturing.
