Nghiên cứu nhằm đánh giá thay đổi trên siêu âm Doppler tim sau 3 tháng điều trị ở bệnh nhân tắc động mạch phổi cấp. Đây là phương pháp mô tả cắt ngang. Kết quả cho thấy sau 3 tháng điều trị có 18,4 % bệnh nhân giãn thất phải; 10% bệnh nhân có chỉ số thất phải /thất trái >1; 5,8 % bệnh nhân có chỉ số TAPSE < 17, và 1,9% bệnh nhân có vách liên thất di động bất thường; có 2 trường hợp có huyết khối được phát hiện trên siêu âm tim (1,9%). Các dấu hiệu bất thường trên siêu âm tim tại thời điểm sau 3 tháng điều trị đều cải thiện rõ rệt so với thời điểm trước điều trị và ngay sau điều trị. Nghiên cứu kết luận sau 3 tháng điều trị hình ảnh siêu âm tim thường gặp ở tắc động mạch phổi cấp là giãn thất phải, chỉ số thất phải/thất trái >1 và chỉ số TAPSE <17.

This was a cross-sectional study to evaluate the changes on cardiac Doppler ultrasound after 3 months of treatment in patients with acute pulmonary embolism. After 3 months of treatment, 18.4% of patients had right ventricular dilatation, 10% of patients with right / left ventricular > 1, 5.8% had TAPSE <17, and 1.9% had abnormal movement of right ventricle; two cases of thrombosis were detected on echocardiography (1.9%). Signs of abnormal cardiac Doppler ultrasound at the end of 3 months of treatment were significantly improved between the before and after treatment findings. At the end of 3 months of treatment for acute pulmonary embolism, the echocardiography found some abnormal signs such as right ventricular dilatation, right/left ventricle ratio > 1 and TAPSE < 17.
