Objectives: Initial results of ESWL technique to treat patients with kedney stones and upper uretharal stones at Hospital 19-8. Patients and methods: Cross-sectional study included 66 patients undergone ESWL technique for kedney stones and uretharal stones at Hoapital 19-8. Results: In short time to stay at hospital. The higher free stone rate happened in smaller diameter, pelvics stones and lower adaphanous stones. The complications of ESWL are low and not serious. Conclusion: Using ESWL to treat kedney stones and uretharal stones can achive good results. The successful rate is 75.76 percent after 1 session without severe complications.
