Fly ash was used in production of roller compacted concrete for road for a long time. However, the specification requirements, including the limit value of loss on ignition content in different contries are not the same. Using of fly ash with high loss on ignition can lower the cost and extend the application of fly ash. The research results in this article show that, fly ash with 21,6 percent loss on ignition can be used in roller compacted concrete with work ability 35 +/- 5s, compressive strength of 45 MPa, abration of 0,3 g/cm, meeting the requirements of RCC for road construction.
