The design and construction of DKI structures during last 22 years have required to solve many scientific and technology problems involving environment data, general technical and detailed block designs, numerical analysis and construction, vibration reduction, special rules, monitoring and maintenance,.. The main purpose of this paper is to present some creativeness about the solutions of these problems and obtained successes in the development and defense of South-east of Vietnam East sea. For next years, however, the practical use and maintenance of DKI structures require further investigations and efforts on the environment data, new construction designs and anti-corrosion materials. The solutions of those new problems need a great attention from scientists and administration staffs.
