Nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang ghi nhận các đặc điểm tiêu chân răng của 1282 răng hàm sữa trên phim Panorama. Mục tiêu nghiên cứu nhằm xác định đặc điểm tiêu sinh lý và tiêu viêm ở các bệnh nhân 5 - 8 tuổi. Kết quả cho thấy tỉ lệ tiêu sinh lý ở các chân răng hàm sữa chiếm tỉ lệ 76,37% và tiêu viêm là 23,63%. Ở nhóm răng tiêu sinh lý hình ảnh tiêu chéo chiếm 79,26%, tiêu ngang chiếm tỉ lệ 46,53% ở nhóm răng tiêu viêm. Nhóm trẻ 5 - 8 tuổi trên phim Panorama cho thấy các chân răng hàm sữa tiêu sinh lý chiếm tỉ lệ cao, tiêu viêm chiếm tỉ lệ cao ở các răng sâu có tổn thương tuỷ, răng trám thất bại và răng điều trị tuỷ kém.

A cross-sectional descriptive study recorded the root resorption characteristics of 1282 primary molars on Panorama film. The objective of study was to determine the physiological and inflammatory characteristics of root resorption in 5 - 8 years-old patients. The results show that the rate of physiological root resorption of primary molars was 76.37% and the rate of inflammatory root resorption was 23.63%. 79.26% of physiological resorption show diagonal edge on X-ray and 46.53% of inflammatory resorption show horizontal edge on X-Ray. 5 - 8 years-old patients have the high rate of physiology root resorption. The rate of inflammatory root resorption is high in group of pulpitis by caries, loose fillings and root canal failure.
