The Tuyen Quang province is the northern border at the strategic, economic, political, defense and security location of the country. Tuyen Quang mountainous province is limited in access to agricultural development, although its inhabitants are mainly employed in agriculture. Lands in Tuyen Quang mostly were under private ownership, particularly owned by such large families as Nong, Hoang, Ma Doan, Vu as greatly influential lineages. The mining policy under the Nguyen helped people gradually acquire more advanced ways, promote its local strengths and new industry establishment.
