Twenty one species were collected on 25 cultivated plants in the North of Vietnam during 2007-2009. Among them, 19 species of whiteflies were indentified. 7 species of.them are recorded from Vietnam for the first time: Aleuroclava subindica. Aleuroclava sp., Aleurotrachelus anonae, Aleurotrachelus sp., Crenidorsum micheliae. Dialeuropora sp., Pealius machili. Two species (Aleurocanthus citriperdus and Singhiella citrifolil) were recorded for Vietnam in the existing literature. Aleurocanthus spiniferus, Bemisia tabaci, Aleurotrachelus sp. and Dialeurodes citri are common and important pests on some cultivated crops that should be monitored.
