The 2005 Intellectual Property Law of Vietnam provides a list of income, profits arising from intellectual property right. It also shows how to calculate the reduced income, profits but there are still some shortcomings in the application of these rules. This study compares Vietnamese law and intellectual property law of some countries in the world as well as provides some suggestions to protect the legitimate rights and interests of the stakeholders participating in intellectual property relationships.
