Epidemiological investigation of the fluke metacercaria infection transmiting on common carp (Cyprinus carpio. Linnaeus, 1758) by using tissue digestion method was carried out. 254 samples of marketable common carp (979.48 + or - 314.81 g/fish) were collected from nine aquaculture systems as materials to serve for this study. The studied result showed that the prevalence rate of metacercaria in fish was 25.59 percent and the average infected intensity was 6.34 metacercaria per fish. The high infected rate of metacercaria in fish collecting from the rice fields and natural systems was 29.17 percent and 30 percent respectively, the lower prevalence rate of metacercaria in "brittle carp" cultured in cage was 20 percent. There were three small intestinal fluke species: Centrocestus formosanus, Haplorchis pumilio, H.taichui and a small liver fluke Clonorchis sinensis found parasitizing in common carp. Of which, the highest prevalence rate was H.pumilio (20.47 percent) and the lowest rate was C.sinensis (2.76 percent).
