Vo Nhai is a highland district in the North - East of Thai Nguyen province with difficult terrain conditions, hilly and steep slopes. The district has so many difficulty in social and economic development.. Digital elevation model (DEM) is a way of describing the surface of the field, is shown by the continuous change of altitude in space. The construction of DEM will help to determine the degree of erosion, slope direction, slopping, terrain and geomorphology analysis... It will be useful for the agricultural land assessment and land use planning which will bring high economic efficiency, long-term land use and protection of land and environment in the district.
