Lai Giang river basin with an area of 1696 km2, the second largest river basin in Binh Dinh province with diverse natural distribution shown by 151 types of landscape studied in the three layer of landscape that is the mountain, hills and plain. Of which the hills and mountains landscape is 80 percent. Bedside with rich natural resources, Lai Giang river basin has very favorable conditions for economic development, especially agricultural - forestry. It is necessary to study the distribution of diverse landscapes, which suggest some production-oriented layout in landscape units for the development of agriculture and forestry industries to improve production efficiency and environmental protection not only this basin but also Binh Dinh province.
