Cholera bacteria that can cause food poisoning and cholera toxin has risk of being used as biological agents. The accurate detection of toxidty of cholera depends on the determination of the presence of cholera toxin which is essentially dued to toxin subunit B of CTX. This study is to develop tools to rapidly and accurately detect bacterial toxins, by using monoclonal antibodies in western blot method. Results showed that the monoclonal antibodies has specific detection of toxin B subunit of Vibrio cholera ax at concentrations Sng/mL and can be applied in diagnostic.
