Anterior cruciate ligament rupture is quite common. Retrospective study of 200 patients undergoing arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction in Viet Duc University Hospital and Hanoi Medical University Hospital was performed with 2 objectives: 1) Describe the character of macrographic lesion of anterior cruciate ligament rupture; 2) Determine the factor related to the macrographic lesion. The results of the study showed that the most common classes of lesion are Class F (41,5 percent) and Class D (27,5 percent). The length of time between the injury to receiving surgery and treatment correlate significantly to the type of injury.
