This study was conducted to evaluate the efficiency of land use in the industrial parks and economic zones in Quang Tri province through the criteria of occupancy, land-use density economic efficiency. The study results show that, at present, the South Dong Ha Industrial Park, Quan Ngang Industrial Park have 96 investment projects with total registered capital investment of 7952 billion VND, of which, 49 projects have been put into operation, 13 projects are under construction and 34 projects are in the process of land rent Among projects in operation, many projects are using land efficiently. However, some active projects did not take economic efficiency, which lead to the recovery of land. In South Dong Ha Industrial Park, there were 07 projects with total 141,352 m2 of area was recovered. At Lao Bao Special Economic District, there were 08 inefficient projects and were recovered 123,620.5 m2. In term of land use density, the effective of land use is high at industrial and economic zone. The land use purpose of projects in industrial and economic zones are reasonable and has contributed to the annual budget for the province. Based on the analytical results, this study also suggest some solutions to improve the efficiency of land use in the industrial and economic zone of Quang Tri province in the future.
