Objectives: 1) Define the internal rotation angle in cubitus varus; 2) Evaluate the relationship between the internal rotation angle with age, gender and varus angle; Patients and methods: 24 patients underwent surgical treatment for cubitus varus. Evaluate the internal rotation angle based on the K-wires orientation technique for cubitus varus corrective osteotomy. Results: the average of internal rotation angle is 21,4 + or - 6,7. There is no significant correlation between internal rotation angle and age, gender and varus angle. Conclusion: The internal rotation angle in cubitus varus can be evaluated with K-wire orientation technique for cubitus varus corrective osteotomy.
