Hypertension and dyslipidemia are often combined together and dyslipidemia adjustment is necessary to reduce the dangerous complication. Research trials have been conducted on two groups of patients treated with rosuvastatin (study group) and atorvastatin (control group) of 20mg/day for 3 months. Rosuvastatin have reduced concentration of CT from 6.57 +/- 0.75mmol/L to 4.17 +/- 0.73mmol/L, TG from 2.99 +/- 0.96mmol/L to 2.09 +/- 0,81mmol/L, LDL-c from 4.18 +/- 0.43mmol/L to 2.40 +/- 0,49mmol/L and HDL-c from 1.09 +/- 0,23mmol/L to 1.25 +/- 0.24mmol/L. The rate of under 3 times elevated of SGOT, SGPT was 7.8 percent, 11.8 percent, respectively and no cases of muscle pain, digestive disorders. The study showed that rosuvastatin effects better than atorvastatin.
