To analyze steel frame structures subjected to load cases, according to conventional methods, beam-column connections are assumed to be rigid or joint. This makes the calculation of the frame structure more simple. Recent studies suggest that when analyzing steel frames, it is necessary to take into account the working of beam-column connections. This paper presents a study on calculating the steel frame with semi-rigid connections according to Kishi - Chen's model, subjected to the cases of cyclic static loads and dynamic loads, establish a program using Matlab programming language to compare the results of frame analysis with beam-column connections as linear elastic semi-rigid connections using SAP2000 software.
