Termite control in Vietnam has been recently improved when people started to apply beneficial fungi as Metarhizium anisopliae for termite control to protect environment as well as maintain a barrier around the foundation of constructions and other structures. However, there remain some difficulties when insecticidal liquid Is sprayed Into tubes under the ground surface. Currently, a large range of foam chemicals provided with foam applicator has been made to help people solve this problem and meet al.. their needs. To test the use of the foam bio - product under Vietnamese conditions, the authors carried out bioassays on Odontotermes hainanennsis outdoor with bio - formulation containing Metavina 80LS 3 percent and Imidaclorid 0.001 percent (in) with the applicator Jack Plus. In the laboratory, the volume of foam reached the highest point (ayeragely 81 foam per 11 liquid) when the authors dissolved 4 ml Profoam .Platinum in 11 bio formulation. In addition. under outdoor conditions, the bio - formulation has completely destroyed termite nests after 20 days. If this formulation is applied as liquid to spray into the nest it can limit the termite activities but it needs a large amount of bio - product and still some survive in sub - chambers near the river banks.
