An experiment was conducted to assess the effect of two housing types on growth performance, feed intake and death ratio of Cobb500 broilers from 21 to 42 days old. The experiment was allocated according to a completely randomized design into two treatments (open sided house and closed house) with six replicates. There was no differences in temperature and humidity at 8.00am between two treatments. At 14.00pm, the temperature in open - sided house was significantly higher than that in closed house (P0.01), while the humidity was lower (P0.01). The housing types slightly affected on growth performance, the final weight of broiler keeping in closed house was higher (2,638g) than that in open - sided house (2.606g, P
