Tự đánh giá sức khỏe cá nhân là một đánh giá đơn giản nhưng toàn diện về mọi mặt của sức khỏe. Với nghiên cứu này, chúng tôi muốn tìm hiểu thực trạng tự nhận thức sức khỏe cá nhân và các yếu tố ảnh hưởng tới tự nhận thức của nhóm người Từ 60 tuổi trở lên ở vùng nông thôn Việt Nam. Nghiên cứu khảo sát trên 397 đối tượng thông qua bộ câu hỏi đo lường về chỉ số và sự tự nhận thức về sức khỏe cá nhân (PROMIS). Phân tích Two-step cluster và phân tích hồi quy logistic đơn biến cũng được sử dụng để phân nhóm và xác định mối tương quan giữa các yếu tố nhân khẩu học với sự tự nhận thức. Kết quả cho thấy sự tự nhận thức tốt về sức khỏe cá nhân chiếm ưu thế (53,4%). Các yếu tố tiền sử bệnh, BMI bình thường, trầm cảm tác động tới sự tự nhận thức theo chiều nghịch. Nghiên cứu của chúng tôi đã đưa ra được các bằng chứng về các yếu tố ảnh hưởng đến sự tự nhận thức sức khỏe cá nhân của người cao tuổi ở vùng nông thôn Việt Nam.
