Bổ sung loài thực vật Primulina sinovietnamica W.H. Wu & Q. Zhang thuộc họ Tai voi (Gesneriaceae) cho khu hệ thực vật Việt Nam; mô tả chi tiết đặc điểm hình thái, minh họa đặc điểm hình thái đặc trưng kèm theo các thông tin về phân bố, đặc điểm sinh học, sinh thái học và phân loại. Loài này trước đây được phát hiện và mô tả ở khu vực núi đá vôi tỉnh Quảng Tây, Trung Quốc. Các mẫu vật của loài này thu được từ các quần thể ghi nhận ở Việt Nam ít có sự biến đổi về hình thái do điều kiện lập địa và khí hậu là tương đối đồng nhất ở các khu vực phân bố. Hơn nữa, so với mẫu chuẩn thu được ở Trung Quốc, các mẫu thu được ở Việt Nam có số lượng hoa xim ở mỗi cây và số lượng hoa trên mỗi xim ít hơn, kích thước lá bắc dài hơn, tràng hoa dài hơn.

Primulina sinovietnamica W.H. Wu & Q. Zhang (Gesneriaceae), a previously known species f-rom Guangxi province, southern China, is newly reported for the flora of Vietnam. Detailed morphological descriptions together with colour illustrations, information on phenology, ecology, distribution, and taxonomic notes are also provided. In comparison to the populations found in China, specimens of this species obtained f-rom populations recorded in Vietnam have little morphological variation, because the site and climatic conditions are relatively homogeneous in the distribution areas. Furthermore, compared with the type specimens in China, the specimens newly collected in Vietnam have less number of cymes and a number of flowers per each cyme, longer bracts, and longer corolla.
