Ho Chi Minh City with its geographical location and relatively favorable natural conditions, a dynamic and strongly developed city. But there are still many inadequacies, the biggest of which is the flooding in the city. The City has come up with many solutions to reduce flooding, but in reality, the effectiveness of those solutions is not very effective when there is heavy rain and high tide and flooding still occur. There are many causes of flooding, in this report using data related to rainfall and tide water level at Tan Son Hoa meteorological station, Phu An hydrological station and Vung Tau marine station, perform an analysis of these factors and further clarify the evolution over time of these factors to flood Ho Chi Minh City.
