Xuan Son National Park (NP) is located at Thanh Son district, Phu Tho province with a total core area 15,048 ha. Through two field surveys in 2012 at Xuan Son NP has colleted 61 samples of amphibians and reptiles, which has been identified of 32 species. Among them, there are 19 species of amphibians belonging to 1 orders, 5 families, 14 genus and 13 species of reptiles belonging to 1 order, 5 families, 13 genus. The survey results have added to the fauna of the park 17 species including 11 species of amphiibians and 6 species of reptiles compared with the results of previous studies. All the specimen collection in this survey were stored in Museum of Nature, Xuan Son NP. Collections represent 24.07 percent of reptile sand 47.5 percent of the known species of amphibians in Xuan Son National Park. A notable result is the record of one rare and precious species. It was listed in the Vietnam Red Book Data, 2007 at EN level Ptyas korros).
