Trên cơ sở trình bày một số bất cập trong việc quy hoạch mạng lưới các trường đại học, cao đẳng giai đoạn 2006 - 2020, trong đó có hệ thống các trường sư phạm, bài viết đưa ra quan điểm và nguyên tắc quy hoạch mạng lưới các trường sư phạm ở Việt Nam theo một cách tiếp cận mới. Từ kết quả phân tích kinh nghiệm quốc tế và bối cảnh đổi mới giáo dục đại học hiện nay, bài viết đề xuất một số định hướng cho vấn đề quy hoạch mạng lưới các trường sư phạm, trong đó cần hình thành một số trường sư phạm trọng điểm để dẫn dắt hệ thống sư phạm phát triển, từng bước hội nhập với quốc tế trong lĩnh vực đào tạo giáo viên (ĐTGV).

On the basis of presenting some inadequacies in restructuring the network of universities and colleges in the 2006-2020 period, including the system of teacher education universities and colleges, the paper introduces the views and principles of restructuring teacher education network in Vietnam according to a new approach. From the results of analysing international experiences and the current context of higher education renovation, the paper proposes a number of orientations for restructuring the network of teacher education universities and colleges, in which some key teacher training institutions should be built for leading the teacher education system and gradually international integration in the area of teacher training.
