Markhacanasin A (MA) là một cycloartane triterpenoid được phân lập từ lá cây Thiết đinh Cà Ná (Markhamia stipulata var. canaense V.S. Dang) thu thập tại tỉnh Ninh Thuận, Việt Nam. Nghiên cứu cho thấy, MA thể hiện hoạt tính gây độc mạnh trên dòng tế bào ung thư vú MCF-7 với IC50=16,51±0,22 μM. Tuy nhiên, cơ chế MA kích hoạt quá trình chết của tế bào theo chương trình (apoptosis) trong tế bào ung thư vú MCF-7 vẫn chưa được khám phá...

Markhacanasin A (MA), a cycloartane-type triterpenoid was isolated from the leaves of Markhamia stipulata var. canaense V.S. Dang, collected in Ninh Thuan province, Vietnam. In our previous study, it was found that MA possessed potential cytotoxicity against MCF-7 human breast cancer cell lines, with an IC50=16.51±0.22 μM. However, the mechanism by which MA triggers apoptosis in the MCF-7 cells has not been explored yet...
