Necrotizing hepatopancreatitis (NHP) is a severe bacterial disease in pacific white shrimp. In Vietnam, the NHP was usually occurred in Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Nghe An, Quang Tri, Thua Thien - Hue provinces/city and Mekong delta. This problem become imperatively need be research from 2011 (MARD, 2011). Research necrotizing hepatopancreat\tis in pacific white shrimp in Thua Thien - Hue province from November, 2011 to June, 2012 show that Vibrio alginolyticus and Vibrio parahaemolyticus with density 13.106 CFU/mg were recorder in hepatopancreas of pacific white shrimp infected, mortality from 10 to 90 percent; gross signs of NHP include: swim lazily, die in bottom, reduced feed intake, empty guts, hepatopancreas blistered and contained water. The NHP occur scattered in season without rule and focus in first and second month. Oxytetracyclin with 10 ppm concentration can be used in prevention of the NHP.
