This study was carried out to assess the protected level of H5N1-Re5 vaccine on the Tau and Luong Phuong chicken breeds with two vaccination procedures. For the procedure 1, one vaccination time only for chicken at 14 days of age. For the procedure 2, the repeated vaccination time was applied for chicken at 28 days of age. Blood samples were collected from the experimental chickens at 35 and 65 days of age for checking the immune response to H5N 1 vaccination. The results of study showed that for the procedure 1, both chicken species were not protected for both sample taking times. Meanwhile, for the procedure 2, both chicken species were protected with the ratio of 86.67 to 100 percent.
