Dyes of diospyrol with aniline and its derivatives: p-nitroaniline, p-aminobenzoic acid have been synthesized and studied. The yieds of the azo coupling were high: from 80 to 90. Azodiospyrol dyes have absorbed in the characteristic absortion region (400-600nm) for the -N=N-group. Formation of azodiospyrol dyes has disclosed by the IR data
