Đổi mới chương trình giáo dục phổ thông nhằm nâng cao chất lượng nguồn nhân lực trong bối cảnh hội nhập quốc tế và yêu cầu của cuộc cách mạng công nghiệp 4.0. Do đó, cần phải thay đổi mô hình giáo dục, đổi mới phương pháp dạy và học ở trường phổ thông. Bài viết trình bày một số lý thuyết dạy học là nền tảng lý luận cho một số phương pháp dạy học hiện đại đang được áp dụng tại các trường học hiện nay. Tác giả phân tích những ưu điểm và hạn chế của từng lý thuyết dạy học, các nguyên tắc và ứng dụng trong thực tiễn dạy và học. Trên cơ sở đó, tác giả làm rõ định hướng đổi mới phương pháp dạy học nhằm phát triển năng lực của học sinh ở trường phổ thông, qua đó góp phần đáp ứng yêu cầu của chương trình giáo dục phổ thông mới.

Renovating the general education program to improve the quality of human resources in the context of international integration and the requirements of the industrial revolution 4.0. Therefore, it is necessary to change the educational model, innovate teaching and learning methods at schools. The paper presents some teaching theories that are the theoretical foundation for some modern teaching methods that are being applied in schools today. The author analyzes the strengths and limitations of each teaching theory, principles and applications in teaching and learning practice. On that basis, the author clarifies the orientation for renewing teaching methods and techniques to develop students’ competencies, thereby contributing to meeting the requirements of the new general education program.
