This article presents some core issues and basic standpoints on thecycle theory for economy and business including characteristics, features, forms..., analyses the advantages of the theory on the economic and business policy forming. Additionally, the author also gives some suggestions for application of the theory to Vietnam in the framework of given principles. In the last part, it suggests some conditions to effectively apply the cycle theory under current specific situations of Vietnam.
