The genus Arachniodes has about 50 to 200 species in the world. According to P. K. Loc 2010, the genus Arachniodes have 11 species in Vietnam. the authors use comparative morphological methods. This method is widely used in Vietnam from former times to now. After studying specimens of Arachniodes in herbariums of Vietnam National Museum of Nature, Institute of Ecology and Biological Resources, University of Science Hanoi, the authors also checked its speCimens in foreign hebariums by websites on internet, the authors provided the identify key of 11 Arachniodes species in Vietnam.
