The Truong Sa archipelago (Khanh Hoa province) is evaluated as qne of the most important centers of marine biodiversity in the world, with several high value and rare species, including marine turtles. However, after a long period of unsustainale exploitation both breeding and foraging marine turtle populations here are seriously decreased. At the momment, marine turtle is no longer nesting on the sandy beaches of archiperlago ana the number of foraging marine turtles is also very small. Therefore, if the authors don't have activities to protect marine turtle populations here immediately, they will disappear in this area in the near future.
