Background: Cerebral abscesses remain one of the most severe complications of otitis media with high mortality rate. Objective: To present results of surgical treatment with the use of neuronavigation. Material and method: One patient with cerebellar abscess of otogenic origin was surgically treated with radical mastoidectomy and abscess drainage. Result: Neuronavigation enables extremely precise abscess evacuation by means of a single puncture. Conclusion: Neuronavigation constitutes a velY effective element in the treatment of otogenic brain abscess which maximized outcomes while minimized complications.
