Thai Nguyen province is proud of considering as a capital of revolution place in the North, Thai Nguyen tea products was famous for many years ago, which was famous in all over the world and ranked the second position in nation-wide, with fifty two trade villages, the famous trademarks of Thai Nguyen tea as Tan Cuong tea, La Bang tea, Trai Cai tea, Quan Chu tea...the first step is seccesful. However, at the first International Tea Festival in 2011, the notes were summarized that "necessity for clear tea production, safety tea production": The results of analysis of each element of heavy metal such as As, Cd, Cu, Ph, Zn in 493 soil profile samples and Hg, Cd, As, Ph in 250 water samples in tea areas, which showed that the element of heavy metals in soil profile samples and water samples were lower than the maximum allowable limit, which specified in Decision No. 99/2008/QD-BNN. The necessary condition is the quality of environment soil and water for tea; the remainder of problem is the application of Advanced cultivations (VIETGAP) to ensure the quality, since that time to extend the export market to subtainable development and get the the high economy effect.
