This paper focus on determining coefficient of pile groups for pile foundation constructed in the soil deposit of District 7 - Ho Chi Minh City. Based on comparison between the results of static compression experiments in the field, charts of the relationship of load - displacement piles determined in Plaxis 3D Foundation software and Converse Labarre formula, there are some of result to be learned from this study. The number of piles is inverse proportion to the coefficient of pile groups. The coefficient of pile groups in line is larger than staggered piles with the same number of piles and the distance, but the difference between two piles arrangement in pile foundation is not significant with changing from 1 percent to 5 percent. The distance of piles in pile foundation influences a lot to coefficient of pile groups. The reduction of piles distance leads to of pile groups decreases and vice versa. When the distance of piles is larger than 6D, the interaction between the piles is negligible.
