Dietary management plays an important role and impacts on outcome of pediatric dialysis endstaged hronic kidney diseases (CKD) patients but it still encounters a lot of challenges. Objectives: to determine the impact of dietary managements on nutritional status of end-staged CKD pediatric patients with dialysis in Pediatric hospital 2. Methods: Intervention. This study was conducted on 29 pediatric dialysis end-staged CKD patients in Pediatric hospital 2 in 2011-2012 in 3 months with free of charge tailored meals intra- and post-dialysis. Results: There was significant improvemenfin weight, height, arm circumference, proteinemia, blood cholesterol, calcium, magnesium but with higher phosphatemia and higher azotemia. The levels of blood albumin, bicarbonate and potassium were higher but insignificantly different. Conclusions: appropriate nutrition helps to improve nutritional status of dialysis end-staged CKD patients. It's necessary to have more adequate nutrition interventions and closer co-operation between medical doctors and nutritional specialists to improve nutritional status, minimize complications and increase treatment compliance of the patients.
