Bài viết trình bày và thảo luận một số vấn đề lí luận và thực tiễn giáo dục theo hướng tiếp cận lí thuyết giáo dục nhân văn (GDNV). Nghiên cứu được thực hiện dựa vào nguồn dữ liệu thứ cấp kết hợp cùng sự quan sát của tác giả từ thực tiễn dạy học đại học. Kết quả nghiên cứu đã phát hiện và làm sáng tỏ một số vấn đề lí luận và thực tiễn về GDNV – mở ra cách tiếp cận mới, toàn diện, hiệu quả trong sự nghiệp giáo dục và đào tạo con người. Cụ thể, GDNV bắt nguồn từ nhận thức luận của hiện tượng học với mục tiêu vì sự phát triển toàn diện của người học; GDNV lấy người học làm trung tâm – “trao quyền”, kì vọng, đề cao hệ giá trị con người; GDNV là một trong những phương thức và con đường nhằm phát triển nhu cầu nhận thức của người học – một trong bốn nhu cầu bậc cao của con người.

The article focuses on recent educational theories and practices based on the humanistic approaches. The study used secondary data sources and the author's observations as a lecturer to discuss and clarify some theoretical and practical issues about humanistic education, a new, comprehensive and effective approach in education. In particular, the humanistic education stems from phenomenal consciousness for the comprehensive development of learners; considers learners to be centered- being "empowered" and “expected”; and promotes human values system. This is one vital approach to develop the learners’ needs of cognitive development - one of the four higher oder demands based on Maslow's Hierarchy.
