The results of the project entitled 'Assessment of waste loading impacting on marine environment of Vietnam, study area of Quang Ninh to Ninh Binh show the surface water of estuaries, aquaculture ponds, tourist areas and sea ports have been in degradation and pollution, particularly with pollutants of oil and grease, and nutrients. Sedimentary environment is facing to the pollution with wastes dischargedfrom development activities in coastal areas and river catchments.
