One of the major features of the Cham Muslimcommunity in Vietnam is its active relations with otherMuslim communities in the world. The Muslims’ internationalrelations have even been ever diversified, enhanced, andexpanded as Vietnam intensifies its integration with the worldsince 1986. On analyzing quantitative and qualitative datagathered during 2018-2019, this article provides new findingson international activities of the Cham Muslim community inVietnam. The article focuses its analyses on two main types ofinternational relations, including those that pursue religiouspurposes and those target secular purposes. The author alsoput ford for discussion some emerging issues in the state'smanagement of religious activities among the Cham Muslimwhen their international ties are expanding.
