A total of 374 specimens of Sillago sihama were collected in coastal area of Quang Tri province from October 2010 to September 2011 for investigating the growth characteristics of this species. the results showed that the length of the fish specimens from Quang Tri province ranges from 87-272mm and the weight varies from 5-168g. The correlation between the length and wei percentht of Sillago sihama is as the following: W = 1189,78.10 .L 2.89 (Berverton-Holt index) and Lt = 350,4. [1-e .236 (1.1,64) ] and WI = 242,67. [1-e-0,049 (10.103)] 2,89 (Von Bertalanffy indexes). The age of collected specimens is from 0+ to 3+, but most dominant at the age 1 + (up to 78.07 percent of the total number of obtained specimens) with the weight between 16 and 46.65 gram. The growth rate is fastest in the year of age, up to 131.33mm, reduced to 41.21mm and 29.26mm in the second and third years, respectively.
