Climate plays an important role in every traveler's choice of destination. However, many tourist destinations in the Mekong Delta are closely linked with the natural environment, so the impacts of climate change will greatly affect tourism activities (especially outdoor tourism) in this area. Since then, the article has assessed the climate conditions for tourism in the Mekong Delta through the tourism climate index TCI. This is an experimentally synthesized climate index, assessing the simultaneous influence of climate factors: average maximum temperature (ºC); average low humidity (%); average temperature (ºC), average humidity (%); rainfall, sunshine hours and average wind speed. Compare the calculation results of the period 2001-2020 with the results of 2050 under two scenarios RCP 4.5 and RCP 8.5 in the Mekong Delta with the “Climatic Facilitation Classification for Tourism” according to TCI shows that the climate of the Mekong River Delta will change in the future, from year-round favorable for tourism activities, but in the future with the impact of climate change, tourism activities The calendar was not as good as it is now. In the period 2001-2020, the TCI of the Mekong Delta achieved an average level of favorableness at the 5th level, which was relatively good, in the future the TCI has decreased a lot and there have been months with the level of tourism convenience at level 3 is not good, only the dry season months from December to April in the future are still suitable for tourism activities.
